Growing Well is recruiting a GROWING ACTIVITY LEAD for our Kendal site in Cumbria.

Position: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary: £27,000-£30,000 p.a., dependent upon experience.

Location: Low Sizergh Farm near Kendal.


Responsibilities

* Work alongside existing activity leads to deliver field-based, goal-based activities for adults with mental ill health.
* Collaborate with Mental Health Support Coordinator to map occupational pathways to recovery tailored to each beneficiary.
* Deliver horticultural skills development, focusing on heritage skills, aligned with seasonal and business needs.


Qualifications

* Minimum 2 years of commercial (organic) production horticulture / market gardening experience, including field-scale and polytunnel.
* Experience with organic horticultural production, pest and weed control practices.
* Knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
