Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the delivery and management of highway surface treatment contracts, including development of works programmes
* Support delivery of projects on time and within budget, aligned with planned maintenance schedules
* Carry out site inspections and feasibility assessments, identifying suitable treatments and calculating material quantities and cost estimates
* Support contract administration, including:
o Arranging and attending pre-start and progress meetings
o Maintaining CDM (Construction Design and Management) documentation
o Raising and coordinating Street works permits
o Assisting with retention sign-off in line with contract requirements
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and industry stakeholders regarding materials, specifications, working methods, and health & safety
* Assist in managing and responding to third-party insurance claims, including preparing documentation and attending legal proceedings where required
* Maintain project and compliance documentation, including evidence for funding or audit requirements
* Provide support for winter maintenance operations, including weather monitoring, gritting, and snow clearance activities
