Imagine a clinical environment where documentation happens naturally, in real time, without ever pulling a clinician away from the patient in front of them. That is the promise of Ambient Voice Technology – and at OneLSC, we are making it a reality.
We are looking for an outstanding Senior Clinical Change Lead to be the bridge between our clinical workforce and this extraordinary technology. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a clinical professional with a passion for innovation, people, and meaningful change. You will not just implement a system – you will inspire a movement.
Your clinical credibility will be your greatest asset. You will speak the language of the ward, the clinic, and the community – and you will use that understanding to champion change in a way that resonates with doctors, nursing and AHP colleagues at every level.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the clinical change and adoption strategy for AVT implementation across OneLSC clinical services
• Acting as the primary clinical point of contact for AVT, providing expert advice and visible leadership to frontline clinical teams
• Conducting thorough clinical workflow analysis to ensure AVT solutions are configured and deployed in a way that genuinely supports care delivery
• Designing and delivering engaging training programmes, drop-in sessions, and peer support networks to build clinical confidence and capability with AVT
• Identifying and nurturing clinical champions and early adopters to create a sustainable culture of digital innovation
• Working alongside the Project Manager to ensure clinical perspectives are fully embedded in project planning, testing, and go-live activities
• Monitoring adoption rates and clinical feedback post-implementation, acting swiftly to address concerns and sustain engagement
• Producing clear and compelling communications for clinical audiences, including case studies, benefits stories, and lessons learned
• Contributing to benefits realisation work, gathering evidence of the impact of AVT on clinical time, documentation quality, and staff experience
At East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust our vision is to be widely recognised for providing safe, personal and effective care. We currently provide high quality services and treat over 600,000 people across East Lancashire and the surrounding area. We employ over 9,500 staff, many of whom are internationally renowned and have won awards for their work.
You are a clinician first. You understand what it means to care for patients, to manage a caseload under pressure, and to navigate the realities of acute NHS life. And you are also someone who believes deeply in the power of technology – when it is introduced thoughtfully and with genuine clinical engagement – to make that care better.
You will bring:
• Current or recent registration as a Nurse or Allied Health Professional, with active clinical experience in an acute NHS Trust
• A strong track record of leading clinical change, service improvement, or digital adoption initiatives in a complex healthcare environment
• Excellent understanding of clinical workflows, documentation practices, and the pressures facing frontline nursing and AHP staff
• Exceptional communication and engagement skills, with the proven ability to inspire and influence clinical colleagues at all levels
• Experience designing and delivering clinical training and education programmes
• Confident facilitation skills – able to lead workshops, feedback sessions, and multidisciplinary discussions with energy and clarity
• A genuine enthusiasm for digital innovation and a belief that technology, in the right hands, transforms patient care
• Resilience, adaptability, and a positive, solutions-focused approach
