Overview
Electrical Instructor / Tutor for PASS Ltd. Based in Hamilton, Glasgow, with occasional requirements at other Training Centres or on-site at customers premises. Role supports Low Voltage City & Guilds and LCL training courses, with focus on 18th edition, 2391 and PAT training.
Responsibilities
* Set up and run all courses to a high professional standard.
* Complete all paperwork in an accurate, timely manner.
* Deal with delegates inquiries and provide effective support.
* Problem solve and work both as part of a team and independently.
* Provide additional support as required.
* Manage a large portion of time working on your own initiative in the classroom.
* Coordinate with the remote administration team based at the Thornaby training centre for course administration and paperwork.
* Liaise with the admin team as needed.
Role Details
* Role Type: Full time
* Working Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
* Holidays: 22 days, increasing with service to 25 days plus bank holidays
Qualifications & Experience
* Has a PTTLS Certificate
* City & Guilds (18th Edition) relevant qualifications
* City & Guilds 2346 Experienced Worker NVQ
* City & Guilds (Electric Vehicle Charging)
* City & Guilds (level 2 Inspection and Testing)
* City & Guilds (level 3 Initial Verification)
* City & Guilds (level 3 Periodic inspection and testing)
* City & Guilds (level 3 Combined Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing)
* City & Guilds (In-house testing PAT)
* City & Guilds (Building Regulations)
* Electricity At Work Regulations
* LCL Domestic Electrical Installer (Formerly Part P)
* A1 Assessor award would be an advantage but not essential
