We are supporting a range of primary and specialist schools across the Wirral and nearby areas who are looking for Mental Health Support Workers to assist students with additional learning needs on a temp and also long term roles.
You do not need previous teaching assistant experience for this role; however, any background-paid or voluntary-working with children, young people, or adults with learning difficulties is mandatory.
We'd especially like to hear from you if:
* You're passionate about helping young people and want to support pupils with diverse needs
* You can stay calm and reassuring when situations become challenging
* You are patient, understanding, and resilient
* You're open to flexible, temporary work opportunities
* You can commit to full-time hours (8am-4pm)
All applicants must hold an enhanced DBS for working with children (or children and adults) on the update service, or be willing to apply for one.
