Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and have experience with various installation techniques. This role involves working with a range of materials and tools to ensure high-quality installations that meet safety standards and client specifications.
Responsibilities
* Install windows in residential and commercial properties, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
* Interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to complete installations accurately.
* Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for window installation tasks.
* Perform necessary carpentry work, including framing adjustments and finishing touches.
* Conduct inspections of installed windows to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople, including roofing, plumbing, electrical, and masonry specialists, as required for comprehensive project completion.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the installation process.
Requirements
* Proven experience in window installation or related construction fields.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to window installation.
* Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, construction painting, and masonry is highly desirable.
* Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
