Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer - KentMy client is looking for a Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Kent. If you're looking for a challenging and varied role, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Perform maintenance, fault finding, installation, and commissioning on:Fire alarmsAutomatic opening vents (AOV)CCTV systemsAccess control systemsWarden call systemsFire extinguishersComplete engineer service reports accuratelyIdentify and report any deficiencies or deviations in systemsMaintain emergency lighting systems and associated equipment such as fire extinguishers and AOVsConduct regular van stock checks, liaising with the Engineering Technical Supervisor and Procurement Department to ensure stock levels are maintainedMaintain a strong health and safety mindset, identifying potential risks and ensuring the safety of yourself and othersStrive for first-time fixes whenever possibleWhat We’re Looking For:A flexible approach to work, with a minimum of 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with opportunities for additional earnings through weekends and participation in an out-of-hours call-out rotaA full UK driving licensePrevious experience with fire alarm systems, including knowledge of analogue addressable and conventional systemsFIA training (or equivalent) to BS5839-1 FundamentalsUnderstanding of BS5839, particularly Parts 1 and 6Good IT literacyFamiliarity with Health and Safety regulations in the workplaceWhat’s in it for you:Competitive salary of up to £41,000Overtime paid at 1.5xCompany vehicle and fuel cardMobile phone and tabletFull test equipment and power tools providedAccess to a comprehensive benefits package including:Employee Assistance ProgramWellbeing app and mental health supportEmployee discount schemeDeath in service insuranceCompany pension schemeIf you're ready to take the next step in your career, please get in touch with us.
