Senior Social Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality social services to individuals and families in need. As a Senior Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the well‑being of our clients, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing tailored intervention plans. Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
* Provide counseling and support services to clients facing various challenges, including mental health issues, family conflicts, and substance abuse disorders.
* Lead case management efforts, coordinating services and resources from multiple providers to ensure holistic support for clients.
* Mentor and supervise junior staff and interns, enhancing their professional development and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
* Advocate for clients' rights and access to services, navigating complex systems to facilitate necessary resources.
* Monitor and evaluate progress of clients, making adjustments to intervention plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
* Participate in community outreach initiatives, fostering relationships with stakeholders to raise awareness of social issues and available resources.
Requirements
* Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
* Minimum of five years of experience in social work, with a focus on clinical practice and case management.
* Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent credential.
* Demonstrated knowledge of social work principles, practices, and legal requirements.
* Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills, with experience in trauma‑informed care.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
* Proven leadership abilities, including experience in supervising and mentoring staff.

End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £32.05
Location: Plymouth, South West England
