Overview
Institutional Intelligence Analyst for the Division of Adult Institutions, working within Missouri correctional facilities. Locate, analyze and disseminate intelligence residing in Missouri's prison. Develop and maintain knowledge of intelligence sources such as the offender phone and email system, recording and monitoring equipment, and the MoDOC offender management system. Monitor offender wire communications to identify criminal activity. Provide analyzed intelligence to Institutional Investigators, local and state law enforcement, facility administrators, and Department Special Investigations Taskforce Unit. Compile extensive reports on intercepted communications and organize interdictions of drugs and contraband. Develop actionable intelligence related to the safety and security of the facility and the public by exhausting all reasonable leads. Assist in ongoing investigations of suspected violations of administrative, state, and federal law. Interview staff, victims, and witnesses to obtain evidence and write case summaries. Testifies in criminal, civil, or administrative proceedings.

Qualifications
* Four or more years of correctional experience; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
* OR four or more years of experience in financial or resources investigations, civil, administrative, or criminal investigative experience (e.g., tax fraud, licensing, environmental, client care, public assistance, insurance, or military); or as a law enforcement officer; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
* (Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for a maximum of three years of the required experience at a rate of 30 earned credit hours for one year – a minimum of one year of the listed experience is required.)

Contingent upon your position, you may also be eligible to receive:
* A $2.00 per hour shift differential if assigned to a shift starting between 12:00pm and 5:00am at a 24/7 facility.
* A $0.75 per hour maximum security stipend for full-time work at a qualifying facility.
* A $1.00 per hour restrictive housing stipend for regular posts within a restrictive housing unit.
The Department of Corrections currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of continuous service up to 20 years.
