Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills and experience in various trades, including electrical work, carpentry, plumbing, fabrication, roofing, welding, painting, masonry, and the proficient use of hand and power tools. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.
Responsibilities
* Carry out a variety of trade tasks including electrical installations and repairs.
* Perform carpentry work such as framing, cabinetry, and finishing.
* Execute plumbing tasks including installation and maintenance of pipes and fixtures.
* Fabricate components as required for various projects.
* Conduct roofing repairs and installations to ensure structural integrity.
* Weld metal structures or components as needed for construction projects.
* Undertake painting duties to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings and structures.
* Engage in masonry work including bricklaying and stonework.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in one or more of the following trades: electrical, carpentry, plumbing, fabrication, roofing, welding, painting, or masonry.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to trade tasks.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Good physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in specific trades are advantageous but not mandatory.
