Plant Operator Altera Recruitment Group is looking to appoint a Plant Operator for a critical operational site in the West Midlands. The role of a Plant Operator plays a key part in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous production of steam through the monitoring and control of boilers and turbine systems. Key Responsibilities of a Plant Operator * Operate and oversee boiler and turbine systems to ensure consistent and optimal plant performance. * Monitor plant conditions through control systems, instruments, and gauges, responding appropriately to deviations or alarms. * Accurately record operational data, readings, and shift activities to support continuity and compliance. * Respond effectively to both planned maintenance activities and unexpected operational issues or emergency situations. * Support wider plant operations, including waste handling, housekeeping, and assisting with ancillary plant duties as required.
