Experienced Housekeepers required at Broughton Sanctuary, part and full time positions. Location: Broughton, Skipton.
Are you an experienced housekeeper with attention to detail who wants to be part of a team? Broughton Sanctuary is looking for proactive and experienced housekeepers with a keen eye for detail. We have two new housekeepers joining the team; both part-time and full-time positions are available, on a rota that will include weekends. As a Housekeeper at Broughton Sanctuary, you will help maintain accommodation, communal areas, and facilities to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests visiting for relaxation, retreats, or special events. Broughton Sanctuary offers wellbeing retreats, luxurious accommodations, unique experiences, and unforgettable events in a beautiful Yorkshire countryside setting.
We are a leading destination for wellbeing, sustainability, and hospitality and are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain our exceptional standards for guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Clean and maintain guest rooms, cottages, and communal areas to a high standard.
* Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room supplies as required.
* Ensure cleanliness in all public areas, including lounges, dining areas, and wellness spaces.
* Conduct regular deep cleaning tasks as per the cleaning schedule.
* Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management team.
* Follow health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines.
* Work efficiently as part of a team, maintaining a positive and professional approach.
* Holiday cottage changeovers, including making beds, bathroom cleans, and kitchen cleans.
* Housekeeping in the Hall and conducting daily checks when occupied.
* Cleaning general communal areas across the Estate.
* Housekeeping in Avalon Wellbeing including pool suite, studio spaces and changing rooms.
* Laundry duties.
Requirements
* Minimum experience: 3 years cleaning or housekeeping experience.
* Qualifications: Enhanced DBS.
* Hours of work: 40 hours per week full time / 26 hours per week part time.
* Days required: Based on rota.
* Driving required: Yes (essential).
* Job Start Date: ASAP.
* Pay: £27,000 gross per annum (full time) plus monthly bonus £225.
