About the Role
Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in design, heritage, or visitor attractions? A globally recognized leader in placemaking and cultural experience design seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale visitor experience projects across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
This role involves working on high-profile projects with prestigious clients in the museum, cultural, and heritage sectors, guiding projects from concept to delivery, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and surpass expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple high-value projects domestically and internationally, from bid to final delivery.
* Collaborate with creatives, architects, and consultants to ensure project excellence.
* Develop and oversee budgets, schedules, resources, and risk assessments.
* Manage procurement, contracts, and statutory compliance.
* Align projects with funder expectations (e.g., National Lottery Heritage Fund, Arts Council).
* Represent the agency in meetings, presentations, and site inspections.
* Assist in business proposals, costing, and pitching.
* Require minimum 8 years' experience in project management within relevant sectors.
* Proven ability to handle complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Strong planning, financial, and strategic skills.
* Leadership in managing project teams.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with RIBA work stages and health & safety regulations.
* Experience with publicly funded projects or within a Local Authority context.
* Background in museum fit-out, exhibition fabrication, or interpretive planning.
Additional Information
* Hybrid working with minimum Leicester HQ presence.
* UK and international travel required.
* Out-of-hours work and overnight stays may be necessary.
