Role: Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme.
Responsibilities
* All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met.
* Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate.
* Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials.
* Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
* Understanding and keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
* Working towards a range of clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and student progression.
Qualifications
* Hold a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the UK or equivalent (Full member of PSRB desirable).
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Audit or similar subjects.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
* Experience with accurate reporting and maintaining thorough and organised student records.
* Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
* Fully qualified from PSRB's affiliates or active members (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and/or IFA).
