About Our Client
Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects the finance team is looking for additional support.
Job Description
3. Process invoices, expenses, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Maintain and reconcile financial records and ledgers.
5. Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Support budget tracking and forecasting processes.
7. Handle queries from internal teams and external vendors regarding financial matters.
8. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
9. Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc administrative tasks.
10. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
11. A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
12. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
15. Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
