Are you ready to join a friendly and supportive team? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a partner in our well-established, fully dispensing practice. We are looking for someone who can work full-time. We are flexible and adaptable to your needs and preferences. Don't miss this chance to be part of our amazing practice!
Main duties of the job
We are not immune from the present problems with the NHS. It is not an easy option working in a small rural practice, but even in these busy times, it still retains a deep sense of satisfaction.
Our patch in South East Shropshire is rural, covering the area bordered by Bridgnorth, Wenlock Edge, Ludlow, and Cleobury Mortimer. Still within easy reach of Shrewsbury and Telford. Please see the video posted on our website.
We are an integral part of our community and have very good patient feedback. A review of our patient survey results over the last ten years would be illuminating. But, more enjoyable would be to visit one of our local public houses or village shops and simply ask anyone what they think of us. There is a good day's walk on Brown Clee Hill with a cafe in the village.
We have an exceptionally vibrant and very helpful Patient Participation Group that has supported us for over a decade. Our very supportive patients are involved in purchasing the practice buildings for the future. There will be no need to purchase part of the building as a partner.
About us
Our staff are long-serving, friendly, and committed. We dispense to all our 3,900 patients. Apart from the two partners, we also employ a long-term half-time salaried GP and an Advanced Nurse Practitioner. We have supported our local Meditation Group for the last 12 years. There is a particularly vibrant Compassionate Communities Organisation run by the practice. Working with our local PCN (Primary Care Network), we have been able to provide first access to physiotherapy, a mental health worker, a pharmacist, and social prescribers.
