Pepper Advantage is one of the leading specialist loan servicing companies in the UK and we are currently looking for a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join our growing team in Skipton, North Yorkshire. You should have proven experience in customer service and mortgage administration, both in a commercial and regulated loans environment.
We would particularly like to hear from candidates with experience in term expiry and bridging loans,and who have excellent customer service and communication skills.
As a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist, your main responsibilities will include:
* Regular communication with customers who are experiencing payment difficulties
* Discussing and negotiating arrears workout options, e.g. arrangements, capitalisation, workouts, shortfall sales etc
* Monitoring agreed workout strategies to ensure they are complied with and taking action in accordance with the Special Servicing Manual where appropriate
* Creating and submitting referrals to line Manager for all requests outside mandate
* Effectively handling inbound and outbound arrears and collections customer and third-party calls, offering excellent customer service at all times
* Delivering accurate and timely processing of loan administration activities
* Regular communication with customers and clients
* Conducting all primary servicing activities
* Salary up to £37,000 per annum

Additional Information:
This position is a hybrid role and there will be an expectation (following an initial office-based training), of up to three days a week office attendance.
* Experience with residential and buy to let mortgages
* Phone-based customer service experience
* Insolvency/collections – The ability to understand and appropriately utilise systems and processes for the benefit of debt collection.
* Legal and compliance – The ability to understand and utilise legislative requirements for the benefit of the organisation.
* Risk – The ability to assess and mitigate risk for the benefit of the organisation.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Self-reliant and self-motivated.
* Able to work within established internal controls and maintain a high standard of quality across all your tasks.
* Detail orientated and able to work to tight deadlines.
