The Headteacher and Governing Body at Clytha Primary School are seeking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our happy school. This will be a fixed-term contract initially with the potential of becoming a permanent contract, commencing on the 1st September 2025 or as close to this date as possible.
A Midday Supervisor's typical duties include monitoring lunches, clearing food trays, cleaning tables, and supporting children both during lunchtime and playtime. Our Midday Supervisor plays with the children and helps set up the hall for lunchtimes. Lunchtimes are busy, and occasionally children may fall and hurt themselves. Our Midday Supervisor is first-aid trained and able to support with minor accidents.
Full training for this role will be organised if successful.

This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
The post is part-time, 6 hours and 15 minutes per week, over 38 weeks per year (term time only). Hours are Monday to Friday, 12:25 pm to 1:40 pm. Holidays must be taken during school holiday periods. Attendance at essential training sessions such as Safeguarding, Team Teach, or First Aid is also expected.
