Overview
RSK Ordnance Management (RSK-OM), part of RSK Group, offers services within the bomb disposal and unexploded ordnance (UXO) sector. The company supports bomb disposal, UXO, ordnance management, risk assessments, ground investigation, contamination remediation and environmental impact mitigation. RSK-OM also contributes to UXO research and investigation on land and in marine environments.
We are hiring a Junior Sales / Project Estimator based at our Boxworth Office in Cambridgeshire. The role supports the sales and estimating function by promoting the organisation’s services and helping to grow the client base. The successful candidate will liaise with internal and external companies, support senior staff, ensure client satisfaction and gain experience in managing quotations and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and deliver quotations to clients within agreed timeframes while considering potential competitors.
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent service at all times.
* Monitor shared mailboxes and action relevant tasks, escalating to alternative staff when necessary.
* Track activity and follow up with clients where appropriate.
* Provide administrative support to senior staff.
Person Specification
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
* One to two years’ experience as a sales executive or account manager (training provided).
* Experience or good knowledge of the construction industry is desirable.
* Demonstrated track record of positive sales performance.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to problem‑solve.
* Ability to follow established sales plans and meet management deadlines.
* Strong presentation skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Organisational skills and ability to multitask.
Salary & Benefits
* £26,000 – £28,000 depending on experience.
