Design Manager - London
Salter Grange is seeking a proactive Senior Design Manager(s) to join a leading Main Contractor on exciting London projects. These projects are mainly high-rise residential, with some projects with a value of £80million - £100million.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate design teams from PCSA through delivery (RIBA stages 2-5)
* Manage design schedules, information release, risk registers, and document workflows (Aconex/Fieldview)
* Ensure design quality, compliance, and collaboration with Project Managers and subcontractors
* Support pre-construction activities, including planning conditions, surveys, BREEAM, and design scopes
* Mitigate design risks and maintain the golden thread of information
Requirements:
* HNC/Degree in Design Management, Architecture, or similar
* Experience in new build residential or student accommodation, or commercial fit-out projects
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Positive, proactive attitude and a passion for collaborative working
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
