delivery of sports and safe play in primary schools across Hampshire.
A playworker is the foundation of our clubs. Playing a crucial role that inspires and supports children through a holistic approach. A playworker is kind, upbeat and has an empathetic and compassionate approach to working with and supporting children. A playworker is helpful, respectful and supportive within their team and is adaptable in their approach to work. Getting the basics right, allows the foundations to be built upon and for the clubs to be successful.
Key responsibilities of your role
Food preparation (Small Snacks for children)
Ensuring the activities are ready for children to engage in
Ensure supplies are sufficiently stocked
Ensure all children are kept safe
Ensure children are having fun and sessions are inclusive
Ensure all policies are adhered to
Report all incidents to the manager and to complete relevant paperwork
Our commitment to successful candidates will be provided with comprehensive training, uniform, an enhanced DBS and resources to fully support their work.
Staff will be supported by our senior leadership team consisting of, two staff development officers and the Welfare Officer .
