Our client specialises in Printed Packaging, Packing and Assembly, Innovation and Consultancy. They focus on Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, and Nutraceuticals sectors.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Work as part of a packing team to change over, set up, and operate all relevant equipment and machinery related to automatic packaging lines at Chester Medical Solutions.
2. Comply with all GMP, health and safety procedures, and all procedures related to production operations at Chester Medical Solutions.
3. Complete all equipment and machine changeovers and assist the line leader in any activities required to complete full or partial changeovers.
4. Achieve "right first time" machine and equipment setup to minimize downtime due to setup or operational errors.
5. Ensure "right first time" setup to prevent product quality failures due to setup or operational errors.
6. Follow GMP guidelines by adhering to all relevant written procedures, including machine logs, downtime sheets, setup, operation, cleaning, and final pack quality checks.
7. Carry out all equipment and machine activities in compliance with safety procedures and work instructions, reporting unsafe practices via "near miss" reports and liaising with safety representatives.
8. Handle tooling and equipment carefully during receiving, handling, transportation, and storage to prevent damage, especially during setup and stripping down.
9. Reduce material waste through correct setup and operation, aiming for a pre-agreed minimum waste percentage per job.
Essential Experience Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience as a Machine Setter or similar role.
* On-the-job training provided.

* Experience with automatic blister packaging lines preferred.

* GMP knowledge or experience preferred.
