The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring all learners can access the curriculum effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide classroom and small group support to students.
* Support students with a range of learning and emotional needs.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Encourage positive behaviour and student participation.
* Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Support students to develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
* Work collaboratively as part of a wider support team.

Essential Criteria
The successful candidate will:
* Be passionate about supporting children and young people.
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be patient, positive, and approachable.
* Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn.
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential.
* An interest in education, SEND, SEMH, or pastoral support.
* Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, health and social care, or youth work are advantageous but not required.
