The position involves, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
1. Supervising engineers undertaking multiple system installations and commissioning in accordance with current standards and Codes of Practice.
2. Working within project time constraints, identifying and communicating potential risks to project delivery without delay.
3. Supervising system commissioning and handover in line with specifications and drawings, including client demonstrations.
4. Having NSI Gold Standard & BAFE experience.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring timely completion of timesheets and relevant paperwork, and undertaking necessary training.
2. Compiling H&S Risk Assessments and delivering toolbox talks, ensuring compliance with all H&S requirements.
3. Maintaining health, safety, and welfare of oneself and team in accordance with company policy.
4. Completing all relevant documentation and submitting quotation briefs as required.
5. Supporting company policies and best practices in fire and security, with emphasis on protecting sensitive customer information.
6. Possessing product knowledge and experience related to electronic fire systems (conventional and addressable), Galaxy Honeywell devices, IP and analog CCTV (Samsung, Honeywell, Intellex, Axis), access control systems (ACT, CEM, Honeywell, Paxton), and fibre/data networks and terminations.
The ideal candidate should have:
1. A minimum of 8 years proven experience in electronic security & fire systems.
2. Experience supervising project elements and engineers (preferred).
3. Good communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
4. The ability to work independently and organize time effectively.
5. Understanding of industry standards related to installed systems.
6. Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
7. A full clean driving license, willingness to travel nationwide, ECS/CSCS Card.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overnight stays when necessary.
9. Self-motivated, team-oriented, professional, positive, and proactive attitude.
