Food Production Team Leader
Hours: 6am to 2.30pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Pay: £13.57 per hour (starting training rate). Overtime over 40 hours paid time and a half.
Direct Table Foods Ltd is recruiting for a full‑time Food Production Team Leader to oversee food production operations, ensuring efficiency, meeting targets, and maintaining quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee production staff and ensure targets are met.
* Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards.
* Train and supervise production workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and SOPs.
* Maintain production records and report any issues to management.
* Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report issues immediately.
* Keep production area clean and organized.
* Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals.
* Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands.
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and SOPs.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
