4. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
5. Manage and monitor cash flow and funding requirements.
6. Ensure the integrity of financial systems and internal controls.
7. Collaborate with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.
8. Supervise and guide the accounting team for optimal performance.
9. Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
10. Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Proven experience in accounting and finance within a not-for-profit or similar organisation.
13. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
