Registered Manager – Nursing, Burghfield Common RG7 3BH £70,000 Full Time
Hollies Care Home near Reading lies at the heart of the picturesque village of Burghfield Common. Hollies Care Home is set within a charming mansion house.
Our dedicated team provide residential and nursing care to older people living with dementia, and nursing care for people aged 65 and over who are living with long term health conditions.
We are looking to secure an experienced Manager to lead a nursing home team in delivering high-quality, relationship-centred care and services for all residents. This includes ensuring full compliance with internal and external standards, and aligning all activities with Optalis policies, procedures, vision, and values—while meeting business performance targets.
The Registered Manager will report directly to the Head of Nursing Services, ensuring the home consistently achieves and maintains at least a “GOOD” CQC rating. Initially, the focus will be on transforming the service to fully align with Optalis values and securing a “GOOD” rating within an agreed timeframe.
The role requires inspiring, motivating, and empowering all team members to achieve outstanding outcomes, always working in line with our vision and values.
The successful applicant will have
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing a CQC-regulated Nursing Home.
* Active NMC registration with a valid PIN.
* Proven leadership and management skills.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use.
