Do you have a passion for troubleshooting technical issues and helping end-users? Are you currently a ‘super user’ of systems within your team, used to supporting colleagues and ready to take the next step into systems support? If so, we are looking for great communication and first line support skills, to work within the Application Development & Support Team.
The team sits within the Digital Innovation & ICT Section of Sheffield City Council’s Strategic Support Service. This vacancy will support a number of computer systems used by Adult social care. The team provides a range of development services and support to Liquidlogic (LAS, LCS & EHM), ContrOCC and Call Confirm Live. The team runs a helpdesk for the various systems, operating during standard working hours, offering expert user support, training and guidance.
We have a vacancy for an Information Systems Officer within our section focusing on providing support and assistance to Adult Social care Social Workers, Team Managers, Business Support, and other internal council officers. Specific tasks include first line support for Liquidlogic (LAS, LCS & EHM), ContrOCC, Call Confirm Live, specialised advice for finance, user guidance and 121 support sessions. Knowledge of Social Care processes will be beneficial as will previous experience of these systems or a similar Social Care workflow and recording application.
The team works closely with partners to maintain, develop and test the technical underpinning of the applications. There are close linkages with colleagues in Performance and Analytical Services in respect of reporting requirements at all levels from local management information to statutory returns.
