Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and responsible Night Time Safety Concierge to provide a safe and secure environment for residents during the evening hours. This role will involve performing general concierge duties while also overseeing building safety, triaging out-of-hours calls, monitoring CCTV, conducting walk-around checks, and responding to emergency situations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks related to resident safety and building management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Excellent Service: Greet residents and visitors with a friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanor. Ensure that all residents feel safe and attended to during the evening hours.
* Safety Monitoring: Oversee building safety by monitoring CCTV systems to ensure the premises are secure. Respond to security concerns or incidents promptly and follow the appropriate escalation procedures.
* Out-of-Hours Call Management: Triage out-of-hours phone calls, addressing resident issues or emergencies and directing them to the relevant team or service provider. Ensure all urgent matters are handled efficiently.
* Building Walkarounds: Conduct regular walkarounds of the building in accordance with the building check sheet and ensure the areas are up to the required high standard. Ensure common areas have all the amenities available for residents are safe, clean and free of hazards. Perform visual inspections to identify any maintenance or safety concerns.
* Emergency Response: Attend lockout situations, assist residents with access to their apartments, and respond promptly to fire alarm activations, including silencing alarms when appropriate and ensuring safe evacuation procedures are followed.
* Residence Assistance: Provide general support to tenants, including responding to non-emergency queries and assisting with minor issues or requests. Help resolve concerns and liaise with relevant teams as needed.
* Safety and Compliance Checks: Assist in ensuring the building meets health, safety, and fire regulations, and report any non-compliance or safety hazards promptly.
* Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Ensure the building entrance, office, and communal areas are clean, tidy, and stocked with necessary supplies. Monitor the condition of these areas and address any maintenance issues promptly. Additionally, ensure that the coffee machine is always in working order and stocked with the required supplies, providing residents with a comfortable and welcoming space.
* Parcel Management: Handle resident parcels with care, ensuring they are stored securely and distributed to the correct recipients in a timely manner.
Essential Requirements:
* Safety & Security Focus: A strong commitment to resident safety and building security, with the ability to act calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
* Strong Organisational Skills: Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritising responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
