We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and committed face-to-face fundraisers to promote the Julia’s House lottery.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in the Dorset and/or Wiltshire community, canvassing door-to-door and/or at specific sales locations. You’ll be representing Julia’s House as an extension of our Fundraising Team, engaging in conversations with members of the public about the charity's work to raise vital funds through our lottery membership.
Our lottery is a vital source of regular income that enables our amazing nurses and carers to continue to be there for local children with life-limiting conditions, their mums, dads, brothers and sisters, no matter what.
The right candidate will be working for an established company within the charitable lottery sector on behalf of Julia’s House. They offer an excellent competitive package with extremely flexible working hours, full-time or part-time, with uncapped commission for self-employed staff.
As well as securing vital sustainable income for the charity, your role will involve educating the wider public about Julia’s House’s services and how their support will make a difference. You will act as an ambassador for the charity, remaining professional and friendly, communicating in a non-pressurised way at all times.
This role would suit ex-venue and door-to-door sales professionals from utilities and other sales backgrounds, experienced fundraisers and face-to-face marketeers. No specific qualifications for this role are required, full compliance, fundraising regulations and charity training will be provided.
A proven track record of working with members of the public with great customer service is required.
The use of a car is essential as you will be required to drive to work within an operating location. Those with good public transport links may be considered.
