CAREERS ADVISER (Maternity Cover) – Required as soon as possible until October 2026
Salary Band 5: SCP 19-22 – Actual salary: £28,284-£29,729
To work full time 32.25 hours per week – Term time only plus two weeks (40 weeks)
Part Time Hours Considered
(Required to be in school on GCSE and A Level results days)
We are looking to appoint an experienced Careers Adviser to support the school in driving our vision to offer quality careers education advice and guidance to students aged 11 to 19, ensuring they understand a wide and diverse range of career pathways.
We are looking for candidates who:
* have a Level 4 Advice & Guidance qualification, or are working towards it
* have knowledge and awareness of legislation relating to careers education advice and guidance
* have experience and knowledge of the education system
* have an enthusiasm for the role of further education in building futures and changing lives
* have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop respectful and professional relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues
