Job Title: Junior Video Editor
Location: London (Southbank)
Working model: Hybrid (approx 3 days in the office)
Overview
The Goat Agency, part of WPP Media (formerly GroupM), is looking for a creative and motivated Junior Video Editor to join our in-house Campaign Production team. You will be responsible for the creation of engaging and high-quality video content for client projects, including the enhancement of branded influencer content. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative production team within a large agency environment.
Responsibilities
* Edit footage into polished videos for various platforms (social media, websites, internal communications, showreels, etc.).
* Implement brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all projects.
* Understand and execute different video styles and formats, with a particular flair for engaging social content.
* Work with music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling.
* Color correct and grade footage
* Collaborate with editors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver high-quality results.
* Participate in creative brainstorms and provide input on video concepts, internally and for clients.
* Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.
* Assist with video shoots, including setting up equipment, capturing footage, and managing media.
Role requirements
* Solid experience in video editing, including personal or freelance projects.
* A strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
* Experience with shooting video is a plus.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Passion for video editing and storytelling.
* Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
* Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g. After Effects) is a plus.
* Understanding of video codecs, resolutions, and file formats.
* Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find creative solutions.
* Demonstrate a basic understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
