Wraparound Care Supervisor Grade 5 £25,584 - £27,711 pro rata Temporary – required from 3rd September 2025 until 31st March 2026 12.5 hours per week The Governors of Timothy Hackworth Primary School School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, caring, positive and enthusiastic person to join our wraparound team. Duties to include: • To actively uphold our Gold Level Rights Respecting School ethos. • To lead activities and programmes consistent with the children’s interests and stages of development, their family and the local community to ensure the service provides a stimulating and fulfilling environment. • To lead with the care of the children making sure they are supervised at all times, to ensure high standards of service delivery are maintained and all procedures are adhered to. • Prepare healthy balanced snacks for the children, including fruit and vegetables in a kitchen environment, observing correct food hygiene/handling procedures at all times to safeguard health and wellbeing of children and staff. • To work as part of the team, communicating effectively, ensuring any relevant information is shared or passed on to the appropriate members of staff. • To have awareness of safeguarding issues and special educational needs, and to report any concerns to the relevant staff as appropriate. • To attend any training courses relevant to the post, ensuring continual personal and professional development. • To present oneself as a role model to pupils in speech, dress, behaviour and attitude. • To maintain accident records as required. • To provide pastoral care and support to children who are unwell or injured, taking appropriate action as necessary, ensuring that parents and school staff are fully informed of any incidents and accidents. This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement. Applicants must hold a qualification that meets the approved ‘full and relevant’ criteria for Early Years qualifications and inclusion in staffing ratios. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
