Personality
If you are an experienced and proactive Network Systems Engineer with a strong background in virtualisation, cloud technologies, and Microsoft server environments, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
Technical Skills
You should have hands-on experience with technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Exchange Online/O365, Dell/EMC SANs, and SonicWall. Confidence in managing day-to-day network support, troubleshooting complex issues, and working across multiple configurations in a fast-paced environment is essential. You should also be comfortable planning and implementing system upgrades and collaborating with technical teams to deliver efficient, secure, and scalable solutions.

* Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities
* Some travel for installation or upgrades
* Configuring and managing Microsoft Windows domain and Hyper-V virtualisation environments
* Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting virtualisation and OS issues
* Evaluating products and upgrades, overseeing system upgrade strategies
* Maintaining Dell server environment across multiple locations
* Providing 3rd-level support to Helpdesk engineers
* Leading design, implementation, and maintenance of complex solutions
* Developing and analysing system standards and performance thresholds
* Conducting capacity planning reviews
* Monitoring server backups and network uptime
* Liaising with vendors for support and procurement
* Coordinating proposals and work estimates
* Designing secure systems and network policies, providing technical guidance
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a similar role
* Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, MS Azure, Exchange Online/O365
* MCSE certification
* CCNA certification
* Knowledge of IT Security Protocols
* Experience with DR/BCP
* Expertise in network data centre environments
