An exciting opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join a leading UK Media Organisation

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounting, forecasting and financial analysis, while partnering closely with operational stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insight and support effective decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
Management Accounting & Financial Reporting
* Prepare monthly management accounts for designated business areas and key strategic projects
* Deliver detailed variance analysis and insightful commentary against budget, forecast and prior-year performance
* Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls and audit requirements
* Produce clear financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making
Project & Financial Analysis
* Track and review project spend and financial performance
* Partner with budget owners to monitor delivery against financial plans
* Support business case preparation and project closure reporting
* Maintain and improve forecasting tools and financial models
Business Partnering & Planning
* Work closely with stakeholders to review actuals, forecasts, risks and opportunities
* Support quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and longer-term planning cycles
* Provide financial guidance and challenge to support effective cost management
* Support cashflow forecasting and reporting submissions through finance systems
Continuous Improvement
* Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes and dashboards
* Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and systems improvement projects
About You
You'll be a proactive and commercially minded finance professional with strong technical accounting skills and the confidence to build effective relationships across the business.
You will have:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent)
* At least 1 year PQE
* High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
* A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Desired Skills and Experience
Management Accounting, confident month-end operator, qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent), strong management accounts and month-end close accounts.
