Building and Facilities Manager

Had Fab is growing and we’re looking for a hands on Building and Facilities Manager to take ownership of our site, buildings and workspaces as we continue to expand.
This is a fully site based role. You’ll be visible, practical and involved day to day, keeping our buildings safe, compliant and working smoothly while also delivering improvement projects across offices and workshops.
The role
You’ll be responsible for the day to day running and future development of Had Fab’s buildings and facilities. The role blends hands on facilities management with project work such as refurbishments, upgrades and space planning, offering real variety and ownership.
What you’ll do
* Manage and improve buildings, offices and workshop spaces
* Plan and deliver refurbishments, upgrades and internal projects
* Coordinate office moves, layouts, furniture and equipment installs
* Organise inspections, preventive maintenance and minor repairs
* Respond to reactive issues and urgent facilities problems
* Manage contractors and specialist suppliers
* Own statutory compliance, records and certifications
* Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
* Work closely with internal teams to keep the site safe and functional
About you
You’re a practical facilities professional who enjoys being on site, solving problems and seeing projects through from start to finish. You’re organised, proactive and comfortable juggling planned work with reactive issues.
You’ll bring
* Experience in facilities or building management within an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Practical skills in general repairs, joinery, plumbing or basic electrical work
* Strong understanding of building compliance and health and safety
* Confidence managing contractors and reviewing RAMS
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* A safety focused mindset
