Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Woking, Surrey.
At our service in Woking, we support 5 people who share their home. We also support 2 people who live more independently in the community. You will provide high-quality, flexible support to individuals with learning disabilities and your role is to help people live as independently as possible and to enjoy a great life. What we're looking for:
1. A genuine passion for supporting others.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
3. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
4. A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract options:
5. Full-time: 37.5 hrs
6. Part-time: flexible hours based on availability
7. Relief/bank zero hour contract
Shift times:
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
8. Days: Between 07:00-22:00
9. Sleep-ins: 22:00-07:00
There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70. At Mencap, we’re passionate about finding the right people to support those we care for.
