Menzies Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at our Biggleswade depot (SG18). The role involves providing first-class service to our customers and requires the following details:
Shift Pattern:
Tuesday - Friday, 4 On/ 3 Off
Hours:
18:00 - 06:00
Licences Required:
* PPT, VNA, Counterbalance Licences
Warehouse Team Leader Duties:
* Ensure the application of the business's key standards.
* Establish, monitor, and maintain performance levels for all warehouse activities.
* Liaise with, support, and develop relationships with internal and external customers.
* Maintain strong system control, understanding and reporting adjustments.
* Ensure efficient stock flow throughout the site.
* Collaborate with site, customer, and supplier stock teams for clarity and consistency.
* Work towards KPIs and objectives, considering any projects or initiatives.
* Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with H&S policies.
* Implement and monitor environmental control measures.
* Foster a team environment focused on harmony and people development.
Requirements:
* Experience leading a team in a busy logistics environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and IT skills.
* Ability to prioritize business requirements.
* Experience with PPT, FLT license (Counterbalance essential, VNA desirable).
