Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition & People Administrator to join our People team on a 6-month secondment/FTC. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and our L&D Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our recruitment and people operations. This role combines talent acquisition, onboarding, internal communications, and learning & development support — making it a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support
* Draft, post, and manage job adverts across the company website, job boards, and social media channels.
* Manage and update our Applicant Tracking System (ATS – Pinpoint), ensuring GDPR compliance and accurate candidate records.
* Coordinate candidate assessments, testing, and profiling throughout the recruitment process.
Onboarding & Candidate Experience
* Oversee a seamless onboarding process, including contract drafting, documentation distribution, and payroll coordination.
* Organise and deliver engaging induction sessions for new starters in the Cheltenham office.
* Administer background checks via our screening provider.
Internal Communications
* Assist with the creation of engaging monthly newsletters.
* Support the coordination of internal campaigns and communications initiatives.
Learning & Development Support
* Coordinate internal and external training programmes, ensuring smooth scheduling and delivery.
* Administer our Performance, Learning, and Talent Management System (Cornerstone).
* Organise student work experience placements and support wider L&D initiatives, including the scheduling of monthly Lunch & Learns.
* Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all learning and development activities, ensuring compliance and accessibility for audits and reporting.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with candidates, hiring managers, colleagues, and external partners.
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience or interest in AI highly desirable.
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* High professional integrity and a strong focus on candidate and employee experience.
* Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
