This position will be based at our client's head office in the Northern Home Counties. The business currently turns over in excess of £150 million per annum, and has a reputation for a modern and quality-focused approach. They have live projects with a variety of the top house-builders in the UK and have a full pipeline secured for 2026.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager with a proven background working for residential groundwork subcontractors. Suitable candidates must come from this world. The role will report directly to the Operations Director of this division and you will be responsible for overseeing several live sites while helping plan at the preconstruction phases for new sites. Your role will support the on‑site management, maintain programme requirements, and control costs. Quality, safety, and professionalism are at the forefront of what this business stands for, so these remits will also fall under your control for your selected projects. This is a client‑facing position and the successful individual will uphold or improve the standards of the business. Geographically, this role will require travel around Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and nearby areas.

Qualifications:
* Proven experience working for residential groundwork subcontractors.
* Stable career history with progression to a Contracts Management position.
* Based in or around the Northern Home Counties.
Salary
Our client offers a market‑leading salary of £110,000 – £130,000, plus a company car or car allowance, pension, health care, and bonuses. Further career progression is available for those who stand out.
