Job Description
A global business centred in Norwich is looking to expand its finance team by appointing a new Group Management Accountant. This exceptional brand has seen exciting changes within its Group following a period of continual growth. Joining an extremely skilled team, the Group Management Accountant will be responsible for the following duties:
* Production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts for different trading entities
* Responsible for the financial records for the relevant trading entities
* Production of budgets & forecasts
* Variance analysis and partnering with management heads
* Full balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations
* Production and distribution of monthly reporting to budget by cost centre
* Submission of VAT returns and EC Sales for the group
* Weekly GRN postings
* Authorizing bank payments
* Assisting Finance Controller/Director
* Overhead analysis and other ad hoc duties
The ideal candidate will boast a skill set comprising of commercial awareness and technical astuteness. Key personal attributes are as follows:
* Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
* Understanding of robust management accounting principles
* A strong communicator and inquisitive by nature
* Able to work to deadlines
