Overview
Coordinate and control airfield support equipment maintenance in a critical aviation environment.
Responsibilities
* Plan and prioritize scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities to meet airfield and operational demands.
* Coordinate maintenance tasking with trade team leads and monitor progress against plan.
* Control maintenance documentation, equipment records, and transfer paperwork in line with regulatory requirements.
* Identify risks, constraints, and emerging issues, escalating to maintenance management where required.
* Produce planning and performance information to support effective decision‑making.
* Monitor day‑to‑day schedule and ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Essential Experience
* Proven experience planning and controlling maintenance schedules for Airfield Support Equipment or similar industrial plant.
* Experience coordinating scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities within a regulated environment.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands.
* Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications
Engineering‑related qualification such as City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, BTEC Level 3 or equivalent.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance. Many positions are subject to national security clearance and trade control restrictions.
