Job Summary
Pinnacle Works Ltd is a growing construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across West Sussex. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Controller to join our team and take ownership of the day-to-day financial management of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing daily accounts operations, including invoicing, reconciliations, and credit control
* Managing company cash flow, budgets, and forecasting
* Running payroll and pension contributions
* Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
* Working closely with project teams to monitor costs and profitability
* Ensuring compliance with HMRC and industry regulations
* Using and maintaining Xero Accounting Software effectively
About You:
* Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance role (construction industry knowledge highly desirable)
* Proficient in Xero and confident with MS Excel
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small, busy team
* Proactive and reliable with strong communication skills
