Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting daily operations by managing administrative tasks efficiently and effectively. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in office administration to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment. The role is paid, and prior office experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
Duties
* Managing and maintaining accurate records through data entry and filing systems
* Handling correspondence via email, phone, and postal services with professional etiquette
* Organising meetings, appointments, and schedules to ensure smooth daily operations
* Preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
* Assisting with invoicing, bookkeeping, and financial record keeping using QuickBooks or similar programmes
* Responding promptly to enquiries, providing excellent phone etiquette and customer service
* Supporting other administrative staff with various clerical tasks as required
* Ensuring the organisation's administrative procedures are followed consistently
Skills
* Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
* Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
* Experience with data entry and clerical work, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail
* Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
* Excellent typing skills for efficient document preparation and communication
* Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Good phone etiquette with clear communication skills
* Prior administrative experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
