Business Development Executive Leeds
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Executive to join our Scottish-based client, a well-established company with extensive knowledge and strong connections across the Leeds area
This is a field-based role, and being based in Leeds is essential. The position offers a dynamic mix of customer engagement, sales, and hands-on operational involvement.

Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales
Travel extensively across Leeds and surrounding areas to visit existing customers and develop relationships with new prospects, including scrap yards and recycling businesses.
Identify and pursue opportunities to grow and expand the client base.
Purchase commodities such as catalytic converters and scrap metal, assessing material quality and negotiating competitive prices.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed targets, including prospecting, lead generation, and delivering engaging presentations.
Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reporting on sales performance, activities, and customer interactions.
Assess and grade catalytic converters and other materials based on their properties and quality.
Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to assist with operational tasks when required.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently.
Flexibility to travel for training in Dunfermline, Scotland, and across the assigned sales territory.
A valid UK driving licence.
Physically capable of handling and lifting materials.
