Location of the role: Morley
A leading manufacturer that is a global name requires a Sales Support Engineer to join the team due to company expansion.
This new role would have a wide range of responsibilities, including providing engineering and technical support to internal/external customers on a wide range of products and systems, providing costings, quotations, and managing sales orders.
The company is looking for a motivated team player who can become an integral part of the organization, where there are future opportunities for development and growth.
Key duties of the Sales Support Engineer position:
* Provide technical and commercial support for the sales team and UK customer base.
* Liaise with various departments and provide links between sales, engineering, procurement, production, vehicle testing, and others.
* Interpret customer requirements to select and propose solutions.
* Assist with and generate quotations based on requests for quotation.
* Answer technical queries (Phone, Email, Teams, face to face).
* Respond to requests for delivery dates and lead times.
* Become a 'go-to' for technical assistance and information.
* Carry out vehicle and system handovers on-site to customers.
* Flexibility to be available for travel (UK or overseas) if required on occasion to customer sites or exhibitions.
