Job Summary
We are seeking someone over 18 who is enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position requires individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. Experience in restaurant settings, bartending, or catering is highly desirable. This position will also require Back of House responsibilities when required, including housekeeping and helping the kitchen team during busier shifts. Need to have own transport
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere.
* Assist with food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations as needed.
* Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service stations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
* Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance the dining experience.
* Support bartending staff during busy periods, if applicable.
* Participate in catering events as required, assisting with setup and service.
* Preparing rooms and ensuring they are clean and tidy for guest arrivals.
* Pot wash and food preparation, when required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
* A passion for food and hospitality, with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
