Overview
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is an award-winning hotel with 300+ bedrooms and suites, multiple restaurants and bars, events spaces, a leisure club and spa. Our three golf courses, including The Brabazon, are recognised as world-class. The Belfry has undergone a major expansion and renovation, with a new Masters Suite, event space, more bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club and other enhancements. This role is for a Planned Preventative Maintenance Engineer, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility.
The on-target earnings for this role are £27,227.20 annually (base salary £26,000 plus a gratuities estimate of £1,227.20).
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for ensuring all scheduled PPM tasks across the resort are carried out efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards
* Support the safe, smooth, and uninterrupted running of all hotel facilities
* Undertake bedroom & public area PPM tasks using the Maintenance tablet, including painting and silicon work
* Carry out daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly checks in line with resort compliance requirements
* Ensure statutory checks (fire safety, water hygiene, emergency lighting, etc.) are completed accurately and logged
* Carry out PPM on mechanical and HVAC plant for belt replacement and filter cleaning
* Identify and report potential issues before they become reactive problems
* Rectify defects and log other tasks for attendance by the Maintenance Assistants Team
* Assist the wider maintenance team with technical support when required
* Ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes
* Comply with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Fire Safety policies
* Safeguard the company’s property and assets
* Assist with weekly Fire Alarm Testing throughout the Resort
* Carry out reasonable requests from Direct Reports
* Assist with fortnightly stock takes alongside the Maintenance Supervisor
Qualifications
About You The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a planned maintenance role within a similar setting, such as a hotel, resort, or large commercial site.

* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A good understanding of compliance requirements (training provided if necessary)
* Computer literacy (training on internal systems provided)
* A passion for delivering high standards of property care and customer service
