An opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to work across specialist SEN settings supporting pupils with SEMH, ASD and additional needs.
This is a hands-on, school-based role where therapy is delivered within the classroom, supporting pupils to regulate, engage and access learning.
The role involves a mix of 1:1 and group interventions, working directly from EHCP targets, alongside carrying out assessments and contributing to therapy plans. A key part of the role is working closely with teachers and support staff, providing practical strategies that can be used day-to-day within the classroom.
You will be working across multiple sites, so confidence adapting to different environments and managing your own caseload is important.
The ideal candidate will be HCPC registered, with experience supporting children or young people with SEN. A strong understanding of sensory regulation, communication needs and functional skill development is essential. You should be confident working within school settings and able to communicate clearly with staff and professionals.
This role suits someone looking to move away from a clinic-based setting into a more practical, impact-driven environment where you can see the difference day to day.
