About the Role:
Deliver high-quality, tailored tuition sessions (1:1 or small groups)
Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting lessons to meet individual learning plans
Plan and differentiate work to suit varying abilities and learning styles
Support students in improving attainment, engagement, and confidence
Provide feedback and track student progress
Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and other professionals where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Proven experience working with SEN students - essential
Experience teaching within UK schools
Strong subject knowledge
The ability to build positive relationships and engage learners with additional needs
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
